What is JAFOWA?

The Joint Action for Farmers’ Organisations in West Africa (JAFOWA) envisions and supports a strong, dynamic, inclusive and equitable farming movement in West Africa.

​

By enabling the organisation of smallholder farmers, pastoralists and fishers to create and manage local food systems, the programme benefits families and communities in their region, supports ecologically sustainable farming practices and promotes the leadership of women and youth.
